IMA office-bearers meet Collector

Promise co-operation: Members of IMA Namakkal branch with Collector U. Sagayam.

NAMAKKAL: The Namakkal branch of Indian Medical Association has promised its co-operation to the district administration for the effective implementation of all the healthcare schemes in the district.

A team of office-bearers of the branch led by president R.P. Ilango had given the assurance when it met District Collector U. Sagayam on July 10.

The branch had also decided to conduct a seminar to create awareness among people on the importance of sanitation and healthcare.

The team also expressed displeasure over the repeated attacks on the medical fraternity.

The members explained the various social welfare activities being taken up by the IMA.

The team comprised doctors K. Mani, Kulanthaivelu, S. Selvakumar, S. Bharani, C. Ponnusamy, Kavitha Saravanakumar and R. Thiruselvi.
