Notice to contractor for project delay

Bus terminus in Humnabad to be modernised

Work taken up at

a cost of

Rs. 2.5 crore


BIDAR: Managing director of the North East Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NEKRTC) Shankar Patil has ordered officials of the corporation to serve a notice to the contractor concerned for delay in completing work on modernising the bus terminus in Humnabad taluk.

The modernisation of the terminus was taken up by the corporation at a cost of Rs. 2.5 crore. Mr. Patil asked the contractor to complete the work on schedule. If the contractor failed to complete the work within the stipulated time, action should be taken against him. A release from the corporation here on Saturday said Mr. Patil paid a surprise visit to the bus terminus on Friday after the delay in completion of the project came to his notice.

Mr. Patil has asked the chief engineer and divisional controller to personally monitor the progress of work.
