SHIMOGA: Kannada literary critic Kee. Ram. Nagaraj said here on Saturday that it was not proper to judge a book by its cover. Inaugurating a seminar on the Sahitya Akademi Award-winning novel “Aramane” by K. Veerabhadrappa at the Karnataka Sangh, he said it the significance of a novel lay in its content. Literary works of outstanding writers such as D.R. Bendre and Kuvempu would not have become everlasting if their content was not understood and appreciated by readers.
