Druggists’ demand

KOCHI: The All Kerala Chemists and Druggists’ Association on Saturday urged the government not to grant drug licences to monopolists for opening pharmacies in the state.

At a press conference, K. Sahadevan, President, and other office bearers of the association also demanded that distance norms should be stipulated while granting licence to new medical shops.

They also demanded that a special electricity tariff should be fixed for medical shops.—Special Correspondent
