GULBARGA: Unable to repay loans he had borrowed from private parties, a farmer allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide at Jattur in Chincholi taluk of the district on Saturday. The police gave the name of the dead as Tulajaram (29). It is said that the deceased had consumed pesticide on Friday night and was rushed to a hospital in Sedam taluk of Gulbarga district where he died on Saturday. The Sedam police have registered a case. — Staff Correspondent
