30 Huts gutted in Vysarpadi

CHENNAI: At least 30 huts in Vyasarpadi were gutted in a fire on Friday. According to police, the fire broke out on the Sundaram Street 3rd Lane. No one was injured.

Fire and Rescue Department personnel extinguished the fire.

The cause of fire is under investigation.

Student killed

A dental college student was killed in a road accident on Kodambakkam High Road on Friday. The victim, Patrick (25), was returning home on a motorcycle when a MTC bus ran over him.
