Fabricated reports: CPI(M)

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has denied reports in a section of the media that veteran Marxist leader Jyoti Basu does not agree with its decision to vote against the United Progressive Alliance government.

In a release here on Saturday, the CPI(M) termed such reports “fabricated.”

It said: “Such motivated reports are being floated to hamper the rallying of all the forces who are committed to oppose the nuclear deal and bring to book the UPA government’s failure to tackle price rise and other problems of the people.”
