RMHS takes title

Coimbatore: Rajalakshmi Mills High School (RMHS) scored a thrilling 48-45 win over Stanes AIHSS to clinch the junior boys’ title in the 54th YMCA basketball tournament for the S. Venkatakrishnan Trophy at the YMCA courts here on Saturday.

Manikandan (20 pts) and Marimuthu (15 pts) played a stellar role for the winner.

The results (final): Junior boys: Rajalakshmi Mills HS 48 (Marimuthu 15, Manikandan 20) bt Stanes AIHSS 45 (Ashwin 10).
