IAS officers shifted

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Government on Saturday shifted four IAS officers and cancelled the recent transfer of a bureaucrat, while giving additional charge to another.

Revenue Secretary Pritam Singh was transferred as the Divisional Commissioner of Bikaner, replacing Lalit Mehra, who has been appointed the new Home Secretary.

According to the official orders, Panchayati Raj Secretary Khemraj has been shifted as the Ajmer Divisional Commissioner, while the Inspector-General, Stamp and Duty Department, Ajmer, Atul Sharma, has been posted as the Bharatpur Divisional Commissioner.

Principal Food and Civil Supplies Secretary Parvindar Singh Pawar will look after the work of the Principal Secretary, Personnel Department, in addition to his present responsibilities till further orders.

The recent transfer of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Secretary R. Venkateshwaran as the Ajmer Divisional Commissioner has been cancelled.
