CHANDIGARH: The Department of Mass Communication at Chaudhary Devi Lal University in Sirsa proposes to start a “News Headlines Service” on SMS. A spokesman said on Saturday that the subscribers of this free service would get news updates twice or thrice daily on their cell phones. This service, christened ‘Samachaar’, would be run and managed by the students of Mass Communication.
