Ramadoss’ appeal to Chief Minister

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: PMK founder S.Ramadoss has requested the Chief Minister to meet the Prime Minister and the External Affairs Minister and ensure there was permanent protection to Tamil Nadu fishermen when they ventured into the sea.

In a statement here, Dr. Ramadoss referred to the latest killing of two Vedaranyam fishermen and said that instead of giving a customary statement that letters had been addressed to the Prime Minister and the External Affairs Minister, the Chief Minister should go to Delhi and explain to them the continued threat the fishermen faced from the Sri Lankan Navy and seek a solution to the problem.
