Secure release of fishermen: Pandian

CHENNAI: CPI State secretary D. Pandian on Friday urged the State government to take steps to secure the release of Tamil fishermen lodged in a prison at Anuradhapuram in Sri Lanka.

In a statement here, Mr. Pandian said five fishermen from Ramanathapurm were arrested and lodged in a prison on May 25. — Special Correspondent
