Muktar, Nishanth score centuries

HYDERABAD: Muktar Ali (106) and Nishant Yadav (106) helped Mahbubnagar DCA to score 325 on the first day of its two day match against Karimnagar DCA in the inter districts league championship here on Saturday.

The scores: Inter districts league (two day matches): Mahabubnagar 325 (Muktar Ali 106, Nishant Yadav 106, Lingam four for 47) vs Karimnagar.

Adilabad 113 (Abraar six for 29 Arjun three for 47) bt Medak 82 (Aravind five for 32, Mukesh four for 33).

Nalgonda 120 (Shilavardan six for 44) lost to Nizamabad 123 for two (Sudheer 59 not out, Aslam 40 not out)

A Div two day matches: Crown 263 (Gautham Raju 74, Mohd Iqbal 76, Harsha Adithya four for 72) bt Osmania 113 (Abhishek 45, Mohd Iqbal three for 18).

R. Dayanand CC 291 (Vishwajeet Patanaik 75, Ramesh Yadav 73, Rahul Ranout 38, Md Zameeruddin four for 24, M. A. Layeeq three for 40) bt Saleemnagar 177 (S.M. Zeeshan 49, Imad Ghori 62, Sai Venkatesh five for 52, Anil Koushik three for 18).

Tennis tournament

Three golds for Subham

City boy Subham Sharma won three gold medals in the South Asian junior table tennis championship which was held at Karachi recently.

He won the singles and the doubles titles and his third gold came as a member the victorious Indian team which defeated Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the team championship.
