Kalpetta: The Kabani River Basin Convention, an initiative to save the basin from ecological deterioration, will be organised by the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) at Sreyas, Sulthan Bathery on July 19 and 20. The convention will discuss issues that challenge the existence of the river and seek out an intervention strategy.
