NCC naval wing contests

PUDUCHERRY: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Group Headquarters, Puducherry, is hosting a 10-day State-level NCC naval wing competition from Sunday.

According to a press release, the contests would be held at the NCC Boat Pool Complex at Chunnambar. Firing, ship modelling, semaphore and competitions to select the best cadet would be held.

Around 180 naval wing NCC boy and girl cadets from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman and Nicobar would take part in over 10 competitions. Those who perform well in these competitions would be selected for the All India NCC Naval Wing Competitions to be held at Visakhapatnam in September, added the release.
