PUDUCHERRY: Secretary of Puducherry unit of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam A. Anbalagan on Sunday appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to immediately convene a special session of the Assembly to discuss the “funds crunch facing the Union Territory.” “The Lieutenant Governor should immediately convene the Assembly as per the powers vested with him under the Union Territory Act,” he told reporters.
