KOTTAYAM: Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy has criticised the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government for the ‘delay’ in taking steps to correct the anomalies in the pay revision announced for government employees. Inaugurating the founding day celebrations of the Kerala Gazetted Officers Union (KGOU) here on Saturday, Mr. Chandy said the LDF, had been denying everything that they had claimed when they were in the Opposition. Mr. Chandy said those who opposed the Indio-U.S. nuclear deal were, in fact, abetting the interests of China. The mismanagement of the power sector had pushed the State into a deep crisis, he said. KGOU State president P.K. Jacob presided over the function.
