This Day That Age
The Government of India have decided to compile a report on the history and significance of the excavations at Lothal, the only site in post-partition India where the remains of the Indus Valley Civilizations have been found. Mr. Rao, Director of the Archaeological Department, Western Circle, who has conducted the historical excavations at Lothal since 1955 has been appointed Special Officer for Excavations and will prepare a report on this.
