FOR THE NATION: CRPF Inspector General Mallana Goud inspecting the passing-out parade of the 194 Battalion at Pallipuram, near Thiruvananthapuram. CRPF DIG K.V. Madhusudhanan is also seen. Thiruvananthapuram: As many as 726 fresh recruits turned out in their best for the passing out parade of the new batch at the CRPF station, Pallipuram near here on Monday. Inspector General of Police, CRPF, Southern Sector P.Mallana Goud presided over the function and took the salute. He exhorted the new constables to imbibe the tradition of service, loyalty and discipline in the force. He also commended the Pallipuram station for its activities in various fields including welfare and rehabilitation. DIG K.V.Madhusoodanan welcomed the gathering. He outlined the training given to the recruits hailing from different parts of the country. The new batch was put through a 10-month-long tough regimen including physical activities, weapon skills and jungle warfare.
