Slow progress of housing irks Minister

CHITTOOR: Technical Education Minister R. Chenga Reddy on Monday expressed dissatisfaction over the slow progress made in the construction of houses under the Indiramma housing scheme in the district.

Speaking at the Zilla Parishad general body meeting here, the Minister said that the housing scheme was one of the top priority programmes of the State government which the officers should realise. He directed the officials to take steps to complete them as per the fixed schedule.
