ERODE: Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has asked those LT power consumers who do not have connections in their names to go in for name change. In a media release, the Board says in connections both building as well as agriculture where the consumer name is that of the previous owner, the current owner shall make changes by making use of the special drive organised for four days from July 21. The current owners shall present application forms along with documents for LT connection concerned, VAO certificate if it is agriculture connection, and in case of the death of the original consumer, the death certificate, etc. The forms shall be submitted to the executive engineer concerned with a fee, which is Rs. 200 for connections other than huts and Rs. 50 for hut. Further details can be had from the Board office.
