Office1Superstore enters South

CHENNAI: Indo Rama Retail Holdings Pvt. Ltd., the master franchisee of Office1Superstore in India, on Monday made an entry into the South by inaugurating the first franchisee store in Chennai.

Addressing presspersons here, Ashok Srivastava, Chief Operating Officer, Indo Rama Retail Holdings, said the Office1Superstore would be a one-stop-shop for all the stationery requirements for offices, homes and institutions. It would offer top of the line product assortment which would comprise around 25-30 per cent of Office1Superstores’ own quality products and 70–75 per cent other well-known brands.

Headquartered in Florida, Office1Superstore International has presence in more than 40 countries with 600 plus retail showrooms through master franchise agreements in each country.

Mr. Srivastava said the Chennai store was the 10th one in India and located at Taramani Link Road, Velachery, Chennai. Of the 10 stores, three stores were company owned and company operated and the remaining were franchisee stores.

Puducherry store

The company inaugurated a store in Puducherry on July 9 and was planning to open stores in Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchi, Salem. The company was planning to open 50 stores by March 2009.

S. Xavier Britto, Chairman and Managing Director, Indev Group of Companies, inaugurated the store in Chennai. Vintech Business Solution has been appointed as the franchisee for Chennai. The company also announced the appointment of Retail Office Architect as its Regional Franchisee for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
