Campaign against plastic bags

Students of dozen schools in the city gathered at the Public School, MVP Colony and gave a call to shopkeepers and customers not to use plastic carry bags and requested the Government to strictly implement the law against use of plastic bags. They also suggested use of alternatives like jute or paper bags. Students of Timpany, St. Aloysius, Bethany, Belmont and others schools made the appeal.
