ACB nabs two officials

HYDERABAD: Superintendent-cum-Deputy Tahsildar Poosa Sambasiva Rao and Senior Assistant Gujjeru Manohar in the office of Khammam Rural Tahsildar were ‘caught’ on Monday by the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials while accepting Rs.5,000 from a complainant.

A press release issued by ACB here said Rao had demanded the amount for issuing ownership certificate for 20 guntas of land to erect a cell company tower. The release stated that the two officials were being arrested and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Hyderabad.
