TDP leader files complaint against Saakshi

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party Scheduled Caste Cell president V. Ramaiah on Monday lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police against Saakshi Telugu daily owner Y.S. Jagan for allegedly hurting sentiments of Christians by publishing an objectionable photo of Jesus Christ. Mr. Ramaiah, in his complaint, urged the police to register the case under section 153-A (promoting enmity on grounds of religion) of Indian Penal Code for publishing the photo offending feelings of the Christian community. Banjara Hills Inspector E. Shankar Reddy said that the complaint was being verified into.
