62 students flee hostel

KAKINADA: A skirmish between the inmates of A.P Residential Junior College (APRJC) at A. Mallavaram village in Rowthulapudi mandal on Sunday night, led to the escape of 62 students studying in class 10, in the early hours of Monday. An official inquiry is on to ascertain facts. According to information reaching here, students of the backward communities were being subjected to ragging by the Intermediate students. This led to a clash between them, resulting in the escape.
