KOLLAM: Beachgoers came across a human skull on a boulder of the protection wall on the Thirumullavaram beach in the city on Tuesday morning. Forensic experts who examined the skull said it was a human one. Those who sighted the skull said it appeared partially wrapped in a cloth. By the time the police arrived, the skull got fully exposed. The skull had some of the teeth in the lower jaw intact. Though some said a femur was also sighted, the police could not find it despite a thorough search. Forensic Science Laboratory experts said after preliminary examinations that it was an adult human skull. The skull will be taken for further forensic tests. The police are looking into man missing complaints. The Kollam West police have registered a case.
