Shedding light on pregnancy loss

PUDUCHERRY: Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of JIPMER Soundararaghavan on Sunday said that medical care including appropriate tests at the right time would prevent recurrent pregnancy loss.Delivering a lecture during a Continuous Medical Education programme on ‘Recurrent pregnancy loss,’ he said pregnancy loss could occur within 20 weeks of pregnancy or if the weight of foetus is less than 500 gm.
