Sonepat: An undertrial involved in criminal cases like murder and murderous assault, escaped from custody, police said on Tuesday. Ram Karan (32), a resident of Baiyanpur village was admitted to hospital here two days ago after he complained of chest pain to the local jail authorities. Three police personnel were put on duty at the hospital. A man came to meet Karan yesterday when head constable Inderjit had gone for dinner and one of the constables on duty had left the hospital for personal work. During the period Ram Karan managed to escape with the help of the man who had come to meet him.
