PSEB technical service union protesters being arrested during the inauguration of a flyover by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in Patiala on Tuesday. Patiala: At least 15 persons were injured when police cane charged on protesting Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) employees here on Tuesday. Employees of PSEB’ technical staff union were protesting for their demands and waved black flags and raised anti-Chief Minister slogans. Police immediately resorted to lathi charge to disperse them. About 15 persons were injured in lathi charge and police have arrested majority of them and later released after Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal left the city. The Chief Minister has inaugurated the railway over bridge on crossing no 21 in the city. PTI
