Patna: Convicted RJD Lok Sabha Member from Siwan Mohammed Shahabuddin on Tuesday moved the Patna High Court seeking its permission to allow him to go to New Delhi to participate in the trust vote Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will seek on July 22. Shahabuddin’s counsel filed the petition which is likely to come up for hearing before a division bench in a couple of days. RJD has issued a whip asking its 24 MPs to ensure their presence in the Lok Sabha when voting would take place and support the coalition. Convicted in a kidnapping and murder case, Shahabuddin is lodged in Siwan jail. PTI
