Karunakaran escapes unhurt

Malappuram: Senior Congress leader K. Karunakaran escaped unhurt when his car rammed a jeep at Vettichira, near Valancherry in Malappuram district, on Tuesday.

Mr. Karunakaran was returning to Guruvayur from Kozhikode. No one else was injured in the accident.

The Mercedes Benz in which Mr. Karunakaran was travelling suffered damage in the accident, which occurred around 6 p.m.

Mr Karunakaran continued his journey in another car.
