Load shedding continues in State

BANGALORE: The unscheduled load-shedding in the State, including Bangalore, continued for the second day on Tuesday as a snag-hit unit of the Raichur Thermal Power Station is yet to resume power generation.

Load-shedding ranging from one to three hours was enforced in the morning and evening peak hours in various areas.

There was no official word from any of the power utilities on the load shedding. It is mandatory for the power utilities to inform consumers about interruptions in power supply. — Special Correspondent
