Mirae Asset to launch global commodity fund

CHENNAI: Mirae Asset Global Investment Management plans to launch global commodity stocks fund. According to a release, this open-ended equity fund will invest in equity and equity-related securities in the commodities business subject to necessary regulatory approvals. The new fund will invest at least 65 per cent of its corpus abroad to ensure that it can tap the globally rising demand for commodities.
