Basha slams century

VIJAYAWADA: A century by G. Basha (177, 30x4, 3x6) helped Kadapa post a commanding 392 in 72.4 overs against Anantapur in the South Zone under-22 inter-district tournament at Anantapur.

The scores: Kadapa 392 in 72.4 overs (G. Basha 177, Irfan 55, Ashok 42, Kiran Kumar Reddy four for 65) vs. Anantapur 68 for three 14 overs).

Nellore 250 in 57.5 overs (P.V. Ramakrishna 60, Tirupatayya 42, Moshin Basha five for 72) vs. Kurnool 27 for four in 37 overs (Sk. Akram three for 43).

South posts win

South defeated North by five wickets in the ACA u-19 inter-zonal tournament (one-day) here on Tuesday.

The scores: North Zone 174 in 47.1 overs (G. Chiranjeevi 49, Narendra Reddy four for 32, Safian three for 21) lost to South Zone 175 for five in 40 over (Y. Prem Sagar 63, Ajay Kumar 46, Ch. Srinivas three for 31).

Easy for KDCA Stars

KDCA Stars defeated KDCA Blues by 84 runs in the KDCA under-14 selection tournament that concluded here on Tuesday.

The scores: KDCA Stars 191 in 91.2 overs (Manoj Kumar three for 18, V. Anirudh three for eight) bt KDCA Blues 107 in 82 overs (K. Bhima Rao five for 11, Akarsh four for nine).

Innings win for Krishna

Krishna scored an innings and 124 runs victory over West Godavari in the ACA Central Zone under-22 inter-district tournament for the Md. Nazibullah Khan Trophy at Guntur on Tuesday.

The scores: Krishna 266 in 61 overs bt West Godavari 61 in 26 overs (N.V. Mahesh four for 10, Dinesh Kumar three for 27) and 81 in 35 overs (Krishna Teja four for four, Varun three for 19).
