Nikhat Banu to represent India

HYDERABAD: Nikhat Banu of Andhra Pradesh, Ankita Das of North Bengal and Charvi Kawle of Maharashtra will represent India in the Asian Junior table tennis championships at Singapore from July 23 to 27 in the cadet girls section for players’ under-15 years of age.

They emerged the champion team in the South Asian junior championships held at the Habeeb School Hall in Karachi, Pakistan from July 9 to 11.

Banu, a 10th standard student of Kendriya Vidyalay, Picket is coached by T. Nagaraj and M. Venugopal at the Gujarati Seva Mandal-Pramod Dharia Table Tennis Academy in Secunderabad.
