India bags 13 wrestling medals

NEW DELHI: The Indian wrestling team won 13 medals, including six gold, at the 4th Children of Asia International Sports Games in Sakha, Yakutia, recently.

India won four silver and three bronze medals, a Wrestling Federation of India said in a statement.

Medal winners: Gold: Deepak (44 kg), Sumit Sehrawat (69 kg), Praveen (76 kg), Deepti Rajput (38 kg), Priyanka (49 kg) and Sakshi Malik (56 kg).

Silver: Ajit P. Pandurang (42 kg), Yudhbir (100 kg), Harwinder Kaur (43 kg), Rashmi Tyagi (52 kg).

Bronze: Harpool (50 kg), Tanajit Dinkar (54 kg), Sandeep Kumar (63 kg). — Sports Reporter
