One killed, one injured in hit-and-run case

NEW DELHI: A young man was killed and another seriously injured in a hit-and-run case at Mehrauli here on Monday. According to the police, Narender (35) and Vinod (40) were returning home in their tempo when an unknown vehicle hit them from behind near Gitorni village around 10-30 p.m. The tempo overturned and both sustained severe head injuries. Passers-by rushed the two to hospital where Vinod was declared brought dead. According to the police, the condition of the driver, Narender, is serious.
