Chamba: Four persons, including a woman and her two children, died when they were washed away by the strong currents of Ravi after the truck they were travelling in fell into the river. The police said the incident occurred near Karamukh, about 45 km off the Chamba district headquarters on Tuesday evening. Efforts to recover the bodies of the victims, including the truck driver, have not yielded any result so far, Chamba Superintendent of Police R.S. Negi said. The driver has been identified as Des Raj, a resident of a nearby Ulansa village in Bharmour sub-division, and the woman as Kusuma Devi.
