SBM posts profit

Bangalore: The State Bank of Mysore announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2008-09. The Bank posted a net profit of Rs. 14.32 crore. The operating profit at the end of the quarter was Rs. 127.89 crore. Interest on advances increased by 28.69 per cent year-on-year. Advances grew 26.57 per cent while income from investments grew by 17 per cent. — Special Correspondent
