The fourth paragraph in a Ted Corbett report “Bell calls the shots on day two” (“Sport”, July 12, 2008) was “On Friday, we saw just what Woolmer meant as Bell went from 75 overnight to reach his highest Test score. His progress was slow, first to his eighth Test hundred alongside Pietersen who played a load of jaunty strokes on his way to 152. Then, after lunch and once his record third wicket partnership of 286 with Pietersen was finished, Bell had a century stand with Stuart Broad.” The record 286 run stand was for the fourth wicket.
