Raghottama Rao assumes charge as APERC chief

HYDERABAD: A. Raghottama Rao, former Chief Secretary, assumed charge as Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) here on Wednesday, with the promise to work with commitment to strengthen the power sector.
The oath of office was administered to him by A.K. Goel, Special Chief Secretary, Energy, amidst a large gathering of officials. Among those present were G. P. Rao, former APERC Chairman, S.V. Prasad, Chairman, AP Genco, Ajeya Kallam, CMD, AP Transco, and a number of former and present members of the APERC and the four distribution companies.
