Drinking water supply suspended as pipe bursts near Palpannai

TIRUCHI: Drinking water supply will remain suspended in the following areas on Thursday owing to a burst in water mains of the Golden Rock Combined Drinking Water Supply Scheme near Palpannai on the Tiruchi-Chennai Bypass Road:

Ariyamangalam, Melakalkandarkottai, Ponneripuram, Senthaneerpuarm, Sangiliandapuram, Ponmalaipatti, Central Prison, Subramaniapuram, Airport, Sembattu, Kallukuzhi, Khaja Nagar, Khajamalai, Krishnamoorthy Nagar, Thondaiman Nagar and Anbu Nagar.

Supply would be resumed on Friday, Corporation Commissioner T.T.Balsamy said in a press release.
