Sharjah, Kuwait flights from today

Raviprasad Kamila

MANGALORE: Mangalore will be connected to two more West Asian cities when Air India Express introduces its flights from Kozhikode to Sharjah and Kuwait via Mangalore on Thursday. This will be an important milestone in the development of Mangalore Airport since the introduction of international flight services from here to Dubai on October 3, 2006. With this, Mangalore will have direct flight connection to five West Asian countries, M.R. Vasudeva, Director, Mangalore Airport, told The Hindu. The city has Air India Express flight services to Muscat in Oman, Doha in Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE and Bahrain.
