A musical odyssey

KOCHI: What happens when a group of music loving youngsters join hands to kindle their passion these days? Pooling in all their money and resources to bring out a music album could be one of the options.

And that is exactly what Mithun Raaj and friends did by coming up with Violet — a music journey. The effort also paved the way for the re-union of friends at the School of Audio Engineering at Chennai. The youngsters have also come out with a video of Karthika Rathri, a song sung by Pradeep Vijay. Directed by R. Padmarajan, the video is being shown on leading Malayalam channels.

Mejo Joseph, music director of films like Notebook and Cycle, released the album at a function held at Ernakulam Press Club on Wednesday.
