Sarvodaya Mandalam plea to lawyers

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Sarvodaya Mandalam has said the ongoing lawyers’ agitation for a High Court Bench in the capital should not cause hardships to litigants and the general public.
Mandalam State committee member J.M. Rahim said raising inflation, high fuel prices, high cost of essential commodities and increase in transport fare have been causing much trouble to the public.
He said the agitating lawyers should not tax the public further by indefinitely boycotting the courts. Such an act would tantamount to denying justice to a large section of the public.
