KHAMMAM: Kaka Bhavani, 11, a sixth standard student was electrocuted in the premises of the Kastruriba Gandhi residential schools for tribal girls at Tekulapalli on Thursday morning. The girl came in touch with live wire, which was pulled down by gale that swept the area last night. Student organisations staged protests in front of the school. The ITA project officer, Budha Prakash Jyothi announced a monetary help of Rs. 1 lakh, two acres of land and employment to her father as a watchman. The body was sent for post mortem and the police investigation is on. - Staff Reporter
