Kanpur: The strike at GSVM Medical College continued for the second day on Thursday, though the nine junior doctors who were arrested after they went on a rampage have been released. The junior doctors were arrested after they went on a rampage late on Wednesday night. Junior doctors had gone on strike on Wednesday after they were blamed for the death of a patient by her relatives. The junior doctors are demanding arrest of the relatives of Jaidevi, who attacked them on Wednesday. They have also asked for adequate security for themselves.
