Three held, ornaments recovered
Correspondent
VIZIANAGARAM: The I-Town police recovered 25 tolas of gold ornaments that were stolen from the house of Ramesh, a doctor, in C.B. Colony here on the morning of June 24 and arrested three persons – K. Suresh (25), car driver of the doctor, P. Arjun (24) and S. Gupta (24) – at Puligeddavari Street in the town, said K. Koteswara Rao, DSP, at a press conference on Thursday. Fingerprints of the accused persons helped the police unravel the mystery.
Dr. Ramesh, while working in his clinic along with his wife, was in the habit of giving keys of the house to his car driver. The driver took advantage of it and decamped with the booty along with his two accomplices, he added.
