Scientist wins award

Madikere: B. Narayanaswamy, senior scientist and head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gonicoppa in Kodagu, has won the best research paper presentation award at a national seminar organised at Tiruchi in Tamil Nadu.

His paper was titled, ‘A scale to measure the performance of farming self help groups’. The event was organised by the Society of Extension Education, Tamil Nadu Agriculture University, an official press release said here on Thursday.
